These individual charcuterie cones are a fun, elegant way to serve a snack board in portable form. Filled with savory meats, creamy mozzarella, and sweet, colorful fruit, they’re perfect for parties, picnics, and easy entertaining.

Ingredients

Quantities may vary depending on the number of cones

  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 4 oz salami
  • ½ cup green grapes
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 4 oz mozzarella balls
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup strawberries, trimmed and halved
  • Food cones or food-safe cups
  • 2–3 cocktail picks per cone

Instructions

  1. Stabilize the cone: Tightly roll a slice of prosciutto and place it at the bottom of a food-safe cone. This helps hold the other items in place.
  2. Assemble the first pick: Thread a blueberry, a grape, another blueberry, and a halved strawberry onto a cocktail pick. Place the finished pick into the cone.
  3. Make the salami rose: Lay one slice of salami halfway over another. Fold in half and roll tightly to form a rose shape.
  4. Assemble the second pick: Add a mozzarella ball, a cherry tomato, and finish with the salami rose. Insert the pick into the cone.
  5. Arrange and serve: Place each cone on a serving tray. Serve immediately or chill until ready.

Tips

  • Use parchment cones or small cups if you don’t have food-safe cones.
  • Roll meats tightly to help keep everything stable.
  • Chill cones in the fridge for 10–15 minutes before serving to keep them fresh.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Cheese options: Try feta cubes, cheddar, or goat cheese instead of mozzarella.
  • Fruits: Use raspberries, apple slices, or dried apricots.
  • Meats: Substitute with pepperoni, turkey, or plant-based deli slices for vegetarian options.

FAQs

Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes, assemble a few hours ahead and store in the fridge. Add delicate items like strawberries just before serving.

How do I keep them upright?
Use a muffin tin or a shallow box filled with rice or beans to keep cones steady on a serving tray.

Can I make this kid-friendly?
Absolutely—swap the meats for rolled turkey or cheese cubes and use more fruit.

Serving Suggestions

  • Perfect for brunches, showers, holidays, or wine nights.
